Find your way to a product pick with ease using the Pickr Helpr, a new tool we’re testing that looks for a gadget we’ve reviewed ordered between good, better, and best, and shows you a review.

Did you know that Pickr published hundreds of reviews? A lot of gear is being checked out, analysed, detailed, and used, and while it all adds to the big expertise machine that is Pickr, it’s not easy to find gear in a specific category.

That’s why we created the Helpr.

How do you pick technology with ease? While you could always browse through our assortment of reviews and scroll through the seemingly endless supply of news, we’re trying something else: good, better, best.

Simply put, pick the product category below, and then if you need to, pick price options. We’ll show you an assortment of products with reviews ranked as good, better, and best. It’s that easy.

Select a category and/or price range, then click "Find Reviews" to see Good, Better, and Best recommendations.

A tool made to help you sort through reviews quickly and easily, Pickr’s “Helpr” lets you quickly break down a topic or category into three products measured as good, better, and best.

The idea originated with one of Pickr’s first functions and articles: how you pick a phone.

To help with the picking process, reviewers typically suggest selecting three devices and comparing on features. Technology journalists aren’t supposed to tell you what to buy, but they can arm you with the information and make life easier.

That’s what the Pickr Helpr aims to do, selecting three devices in specific categories and breaking down the choices from good to better to best. Think of it as a group test made easy.

Each product has been reviewed and includes a link to the full write up, so you can explore the product more deeply. And because Pickr has no ads of any kind, you can rest assured that every review is unbiased and focused on simply explaining what’s good and what’s bad.

Pickr’s Helpr tool is updated as and when reviews are added to the system, because the data comes from reviews data. Simply put, as and when we add a new review, the Pickr Helpr is updated.

The filters it uses are added and tweaked over time, but all data comes from reviews, making it updated weekly, based on whatever we happen to be reviewing at the time.
